- AID2E Dev Day — September 14, 2026 (JLab)
- One-day hybrid work session focused on running studies for the paper and planning the road to v1.0.
- Derek is coordinating the in-person arrangements at JLab.
- Remote participation will be available throughout the day.
- Anyone planning to attend in person should contact Derek.
- Onsite attendees must complete the JLab access form at least 7 days before arrival.
- The Indico page is available.
Updates on Phase I from technical meeting
Cynthia — Duke
- Created a new branch for documentation and example cleanup.
- Continuing work to make the optimization pipelines ready for use.
Derek — JLab
- Will test the BIC code this week.
- Next step is to combine the sub-detector workflows into a working pipeline.
Phase II
Code Assist
- Testing with Gemma is underway.
- Gemma has been somewhat less effective than the Qwen models so far.
- Qwen remains a suitable option for users running models locally.
- The team is looking into other models that meet national lab requirements.
Monitoring / Control
- Amit will provide an update at the next technical meeting.
Detector Optimization
CUA
- Calorimetry calibration: Updates requested from Baptiste and Tanja.
Duke / W&M / Other Institutions
- kLM Design: Phase I activity.
- RICH Alignment: Phase II activity; the alignment work is already in production at CLAS12.
- Connor may still be contributing.
- Anselm is considering ways to speed up the work.
- Connor needs to write up the completed work.
- The team discussed whether SLURM/PanDA could help speed up the process.
- Cynthia believes Connor has been using SLURM.
- AerFib: Ongoing activity.
- Software Stack Extension: FEM integration and ensuring consistency between FEM and Geant detector designs.
