AID2E Bootcamp (2024)

2024

A comprehensive educational workshop designed to train the next generation of physicists and engineers in AI-assisted detector design methodologies.

The AID2E Bootcamp provides hands-on training in modern detector optimization techniques, combining theoretical foundations with practical applications. Participants learn to use state-of-the-art AI tools, multiobjective optimization frameworks, and distributed computing systems for detector design. The bootcamp covers topics including Bayesian optimization, neural networks for detector simulation, and large-scale workflow management using PanDA and iDDS systems.

RAG4EIC Agent

2024

An intelligent AI-powered chatbot system leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology to provide instant access to EIC documentation and knowledge.

RAG4EIC combines advanced Large Language Models with a comprehensive knowledge base of EIC documentation, publications, and technical resources. The system uses RAG technology to provide accurate, context-aware responses to questions about the Electron Ion Collider, detector design, physics objectives, and technical specifications. This tool significantly reduces the time researchers spend searching through documentation and enables more efficient collaboration across the EIC community.
