- Announcements
- Phase I
- The group reviewed AID2E-framework progress and the milestone plan in GitHub milestones.
- The target remained completion by the end of February.
- Work items included PanDA, SLURM, and JobLib schedulers, PyMOO coupling, ePIC utilities, and the integration of B0, dRICH, tracker, and BIC examples.
- The paper skeleton and placeholders remained in Overleaf.
- The group also stressed that each detector repository should be runnable with enough information for collaborators to reproduce results.
- Phase II
- The first structured Phase II discussion was anchored by Cynthia's survey.
- The group identified early directions for an AID2E assistant, including code-completion support for ePIC and AID2E pipelines.
- LM-powered monitoring and logging were also discussed, especially for PanDA monitoring.
- The team explicitly raised tradeoffs between commercial cloud services and fine-tuned open models.
- Cost, sustainability, privacy, and long-term maintainability were treated as first-order design constraints for Phase II.
