Phase I
Updates
Cynthia — Duke
- PR #59 is ready for review.
- The dRICH example is working and has been fully updated in the main AID2E framework repository.
- The team discussed what is still missing before the framework is ready for wider use.
- Suggested cleanup work includes:
- Simplifying the examples folder.
- Updating the documentation.
- Cleaning up branches.
- Identifying any other remaining issues.
Amit — BNL
- Working on finishing the PanDA scheduler.
- Simple jobs are working.
- Multi-stage jobs are working, but not consistently.
- Final testing will use Cynthia's dRICH example.
Derek — JLab
- Once PR #59 is merged, the BIC example will be updated to provide additional tests.
Phase II
Code Assist
James — W&M
- No major updates since the previous meeting.
- Tianle suggested considering other models, including Gemma and GPT, alongside Qwen.
Amit — BNL
- Will return to Phase II after finishing the PanDA scheduler.
Tianle — BNL
- Fixed a bug that previously allowed users to submit only one model type.
- Multiple models can now be submitted to Perlmutter and accessed through the model gateway.
- Testing whether these improvements also work for Amit's setup.
